I recount my first experiences, and the differences between altar and crossroads work. I also briefly discuss the reasons I began working with Ellegua in the first place (internal and external signs).
Note: this is a video blog, and not a how-to video. My practice is hoodoo, which is not Traditional Religion, but rather a spiritual formed working with African deities that utilizes rootwork. If you are beginning a practice with Orishas, be prepared to look at more than one video, book, and branch out your network with experienced practitioners.
